Regular mail/ Telephone/ Text/ Fax / e-mail / Twitter/ blogs/ Personal visits – all  Representatives have offices in their districts and are home at various times throughout  the year. Check schedules  with their offices.

Now since the elections are over, as citilzens the main thing we can do, is to keep up the pressure- by utizing the methods suggested above-- so that our representitives do NOT forget why they were elected!

Whether at a “live meeting or contacting your representative by the various means recommended above, we suggest you be firm, even angry if you choose, but still be respectful-because it's the right thing to do, and it's more effective in achieving your goal. So much of how people judge an event is how they perceive it, and there are cameras everywhere. “The media is the message.”

Don’t do personal attacks. However, if the person has been ie.a known adulterer, you may need to say so if they are being hypocritical about that issue.

Stay with the issues that concern you- focus, and stay on one or two at a time of which you consider to be the most important issues. Do not get sidetracked by your opponent. It is a standard debate tactic  to try to sidetrack an opponent to some other  relevant or irrelevant issue.

We suggest that you make it clear to the Senate, the House, the Administration and the Supreme Court that the overriding issue, of the people is for our government actually adhering to the Constitution.  What a Concept!

Be a local leader, you form the groups, don’t depend on others.If you are not able to fulfill  the role as a leader do your best to inspire another who is able and willing to be. The groups do not have to be particularly large, although obviously the larger the better.

Run for a political office yourself.

Initially the name of your group may be something new ,i.e., not “Tea Party”, however as we grow this is something that we will need to coordinate. This is not an ego game, it is about results.
